Event Guidelines
To the best of our ability we strive to adhere to the following event guidelines, and we ask that you help us as best you can:
 Admission to our events is free. We pick an easily accessible location and actively encourage walking, biking, carpooling and public transportation. Measures are taken to reduce paper waste (e.g., limiting handouts, having most of our informational resources online, and doing event registration electronically). We serve fresh, local and organic foods as well as beverages free of charge. We use reusable and biodegradable tableware. We make recycling and composting easy. We turn off lights and equipment when they are not in use. We seek sponsors and donors who reflect positive environmental values and practices, and reject contributions from corporations that are known for environmentally destructive practices. |
