Speakers:
Lamar Turner, Senior Development Project Manager for Excellence to Affordable Housing (EAH). Lamar joined the EAH Development Staff in September, 1992 following a twelve year career as a private residential developer. He works on all levels of project development from initial forward planning through local entitlements, competitive applications for funding and financing, loan and partnership closings, construction and marketing. He fully grasps the elements of such diverse financing as Low Income Tax Credits and HUD Section 202 Programs for rental projects. He is also experienced with single-family and multi-family ownership financing. Lamar is a Senior Development Project Manager for EAH. His expertise and primary focus is in forward planning and project feasibility, identifying and cultivating new project developments throughout California.

Katie Crecelius
, Founding Member of the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative. Katie has worked in the affordable housing field for over 30 years.  During the past 20 years she has completed 26 low-income rental housing developments in the Bay Area.  Katie is currently Chair of the Novato Housing Coalition and a member of the Housing Leadership Alliance.  She is also a former Chair of the Marin Economic Commission.  In 2004 she received the Beryl Buck Achievement Award from the Marin Community Foundation.  In October 2007 she received the Hannah Creighton Environmental Justice Award from the Sierra Club Marin Group.  She currently serves on the Marin County Planning Commission.
